PowerPack Mobile Charger:
Operating procedure
Primary Battery - The charging unit inside the PowerPack is designed to use with a single standard 1.5 V AA primary battery. It can, however, be used with any 1.5 V primary battery of any standard size. Higher quality or premium batteries are recommended, as their lower internal resistance increases performance of the circuit.
In order to optimize charging, the circuit decreases the charging current when the AA cell voltage falls below 1.1 V, and stops charging altogether when it falls below 0.6 V.
Output - The PowerPack was intended for use with cellular telephones and other similar devices that are powered by a one-cell lithium battery of any capacity. All of the connectors provided inside the PowerPack have their original mobile phone plug in one side and a uniform plug in the other side which fits to connect with the master unit's jack.
Since each device model has different charging characteristics, it is possible that the circuit will function differently with some models. Such situations can be rectified by slight changes to the circuit.

Operating Instructions:
Voltage selection
1. Determine proper output voltage setting. Check rating plate and the voltage
indication marked next to the input jack on your computer. You may find the
voltage in your AC adaptor or in the computer user’s manual.
2. Set the voltage switch on the body of the adaptor in the proper
voltage.
TIP Polarity Selection
1. Determine proper connector size. Please note that the polarity of the connector
plugs are preset with the positive tip in the center. Reversed polarity can result
in permanent damage to your computer. Common symbol for tip polarity is shown
below.
2. Insert connector output plug into your computer.
3. Insert adaptor into vehicle lighter socket. Green LED will light to indicate proper
operation. If LED fails to light you may need to replace the fuse. (See Fuse
Replacement below).
Fuse Replacement:
To check or replace fuse, simply rotate the plastic tip at the end of adaptor
counterclockwise. Visually inspect fuse element. If blown or if you are unsure,
replace fuse (10AMP).
Specification:
Input: DC 11-14v VOLTS
Output: DC 15/16/18/19/20 3.5A Max
DC 22/24V 3.3A 80W Max
Fuse for overload protection: 10Amp
Warnings:
1. For DC 12V Car socket only.
2. Ensure correct voltage & polarity (continuous excess voltage of false polarity
might damage your computer).
3. Do not use the adaptor with appliances which exceed 80W.
4. Do not attempt to open the unit or alter the electric components.
5. Remove from vehicle lighter socket when not in use.
6. Always turn off the computer before you connect/disconnect the car
adaptor.
7. Disconnect the adaptor prior to starting your car.
